On October 8th 2010, at 10:00 am, a concerned friend called police to check the welfare of 62 year old Charlotte Morris. When crews arrived they discovered Morris inside her apartment severely beaten. There was no signs of forced entry into her apartment. After being transported to the hospital doctors advised her wounds appeared to be approx. 24-48 hours old. Homicide detectives believe that there is a possibility that Morris knew her attacker. Morris passed away as a result of her injuries.
