Man shot and killed on Rt. 35 West

STATUS: OPEN
Police are asking anyone who was on U.S. 35 West around 12:45 a.m. to 1 a.m. on Thursday, Jan. 16 near Steve Whalen Boulevard to reach out to investigators.
An 18-year-old man was killed and two others were wounded by shots fired from another vehicle.
Police are looking for information on the suspicious vehicle’s color, make, model, and license plate number.

STATUS: OPENA 20-year-old man is facing tampering charges in the shooting death of an 18-year-old woman in Trotwood. Donte Lamar Cotton Jr. , 20, was charged Nov. 28 with two felony counts of tampering with evidence after gunshot victim Ja’niyah Hardy, 18, was found nside a Trotwood apartment on Nov. 27. STATUS: OPENPolice are asking for information about a stabbing Sunday, Nov. 3 in Dayton when officers were called about 2:45 a.m. to the 400 block of Mertland Ave. where they found a 38-year-old man injured from a stab wound.
